A couple of years ago a team of crack Glengoyne tasters locked themselves in a room with several dozen Glengoyne 21 Year Old samples drawn from European Oak casks which had been soaked in Oloroso sherry prior to filling. Glengoyne's distinctive style carries on improving with age. The same elements are present at 17 years old as they were at 10, only now the balance has artfully changed.
